Loud creaking when turn sharp

Take a look at your ball joints. Does it make the same noise when you turn left and right, or just in one direction?

Mine was eventually (at great expense) tracked down to a loose rear sub-frame mount. Only happened when turning left and was the RHR sub-frame mount being loose.
