Actually you can access the clamp from below. The key thing is to get a very long screwdriver (I have the 16-inch long screwdriver, $8 at hardware store, or Sears) and push on the clamp to turn it so the screw faces you.

All the tips/tricks are below. BTW, use Volvo OEM hoses only!
