Misha, I have heard much of what you are stating before. I have tried various plugs. Copper and platinum. I can't say I have ever had the spark plugs, be the cause of any of the problems I have ever had.
Most will swear by copper cores but my vehicle specifics platinum. I actually just put copper cores in because they were cheap and readily available. I'll let u know how they work out. The main difference is longevity, so I have read.
I changed them because I didn't like the deposits on my Bosch FR7DPP+ that had accumulated after driving with a bad ETM.
