Its a matter of meeting the business need. I think taking a 300k car 500-600 miles from home, well out of AAA range, is not prudent. I don't need another airport car, and I think someone else can get good usage out of this, enjoy the turbo stick, and get another 5 years of s/miles.

Just like jets. Provided the airframe is good, just keep swapping those Rolls Royce engines in and you're good to go.

Just avoid the 737 MAX with the Magnetti Marelli control software.

:D Although with the Magnetti Marelli software the 737 autopilot would just have malfunctioned into a Limp mode. That would have been favorable to what actually happened.... Nevertheless I'm safe I've got a wire!

Well, make up your mind! I totally get it on the second point, though I did just drive our 280k wagon 1,000 miles from home. Once, not every couple weeks.
