Well that'd be awesome to make some lemonade.
One thing I'm hesitant about with thinking about welding mine (in the future if/when it/they fail) is removing the BG from the trans. I mean you had to air-hammer your collar sleeve alone to get it to budge. I'm just wondering how big of a pain in the ass it'll create for future install/removal of the BG with it being welded.
I see all kinds of BG's on eBay, & have read all the horror stories of guys buying them & being stripped. They go used w/straight teeth for $5-750 up here, not exactly pocket change.
We really need a Henk Brunekreef on this side of the puddle. Look him up, neat stuff he does.
