Really? I would guess that the salting situation in Quebec is almost the same as in Sweden and very few 850s has been condemned due to corrosion in Sweden (though a lot of other cars from the 90s...). My car has been sprayed with anti corrosion stuff (Dinitrol/ Tectyl) twice and will survive another 20 years. However I do wash it it frequently during the winter.

Nice find, I have the same color interior and when I bought it I found that magic eraser works good to remove stubborn stains, just try in a small spot first. Luckily I had a dark color steering wheel, yours looks hideous.

Yeah - I have a standing offer from a local Volvo enthusiast at $3500 for my T5 with 200k.

Of course, I have the sexy Italian throttle so thats good for at least a thousand more.

Well done, and hopefully it found a good home. Thanks for sharing! I have a light colored steering wheel also and it is hideous and has gone sticky. I have put a cover over it unless I can find a better one but pickings are lean at PnP these days and especially for the oak/taupe interior.

Lol we'll see if the guy pays. Every time I sell on eBay they never pay. If not, I would let it go for $2500 if anyone here is interested.

Thanks, really didn't want to sell it, wanted to keep it and daily it, but I recently had the chance to buy a 79 VW bus (in the backround of a couple of the pictures I think) So I'll be restoring that instead. I bought the T5 for $500, then took it in for an oil change and for Utah state safety/emissions testing. Passed perfectly.

The miles were definitely high- and the guy who purchased it on ebay is paying $3000 PLUS $1100 to ship it to New York. Pretty crazy.

And to add to the comments earlier...looks like she'll be dead and turned to rusty ashes >10 years. RIP
