These are all awesome suggestions and information. I am going to look into engine replacement cost. I might pull the the one out of my v70 glt and swap it into this one. If I can find the right engine.
In the meantime I’m going to clean it up and see what it looks like. I’ve got five vehicles and 2 run...my friends mess with me and say “you’re the only guy I know that has more working bicycles than cars”. I don’t if it’s actually funny anymore🤷‍♂️🤔.

I might pull the the one out of my V70 glt and swap it into this one. If I can find the right engine.

Get the Engine ID and serial numbers of both engines and compare.
The string that starts with a B is the engine type. The other string is the serial number.

You have many cross-compatible engine options and it's very easy to determine compatibility. Just let us know what the swap options are, what cars are involved as donor and recipient. Basically for US spec cars any 96-98 turbo (HPT or LPT) can go into any 96-98 turbo. You can drop back to 95 (very easy) and 94 (can be a hassle) with minor accommodations.
