Re: 4 wire MAF voltage questions
I am back, had to get all new bulbs for the rear of car, someone had some of them the wrong type. Half of my bulbs in the rear werent working, i bought all new bulbs and installed, on each tail light panel there are still 2 bulbs on each side that are not working and the 3rd brake light in back window is not working also i have a warning indicator dash light on,looks like a bulb symbol. I checked all fuses in the secondary fuse box in cowl panel area and fuses 19- 24 are not much over 6 volts, none of the 6 fuses are, and they are all related to rear brake lights etc according to cover on fuse panel.

Correction..... it was fuses numbered 19- 24. The 6 i just mentioned, are showing between 6-7 volts.

I am still trying to find my problem, having difficulty finding where i'm losing power. Just wanted to update where I am at. I installed all new wire loom under the hood for all the wiring since i traced all the wires looking for corrosion, breaks etc in wires going from relay/main fuse box to the ECM, the ECM had lot of dust and dirt in it so i cleaned it all out with air and CRC electric cleaner then used CRC dielectric grease on all the plugs coming off the wiring harness. I am getting the required 12 plus volts from the battery B+ Terminal to the main Lug in the relay/main fuse box, I am getting 12 volts from there to fuses 11B/1-5, I checked the big fuses ( 11A/1-11A/8) with volt meter on Ohms all fuses read 00.0 so no resistance so all fuses tested good, and i used my test light to see if 11A/1-11A/8 were getting power to where they plugged in and there is power there as well. Can someone please tell me what 24/43 represents on the wiring diagram, looks like maybe a relay but i'm not sure. In the secondary fuse box, fuses 11C/19- 11C/24 are not getting 12 volts, it shows around 6 i believe but all the other fuses in secondary fuse box are getting the 12 volts.I need all the help i can get, i appreciate those who have been helping me, we have been without our car going on a month now and we need it very bad for my wife to get to work so any help is much appreciated!! thank you everyone. PS......the relay in the immediate right corner closest to batter in the relay/fuse box that controls a lot i tested with voltmeter and supplied power to it and i could hear it activate and click so it's working.

I wanted to add one more thing, last night i went and bought all new bulbs for the rear tail lights, so all 6 bulbs in each tail light were replaced on both sides because half of them were not working, and 2 of them had to be removed with needle nose pliers ( one from each tail light, same bulb on both sides), looks as if someone used the wrong bulbs in the socket and were very hard to get out, so i cleaned up the sockets and used dielectric grease on them and installed 12 new bulbs, I also have a bulb indicator warning light on in my dash warning lights. I have to replace the front turn signal bulbs ( the larger ones) today, passenger side works the drivers side has a white bulb instead of Amber color, so i will install the correct ones today. I noticed in the secondary fuse box that the fuses i mentioned (11C/19-24) that had very low voltage are all related to both RH and LH side high and low beam and position and tail lamps for both RH and LH . Any suggestions?Could this have anything to do with the current loss or low voltage to MAF plug and injector plugs? my rear window control switches in the back seat area are not working either, i have to use the main power window button that rolls all 4 down at once for the rear windows to roll down, I know this is a lot and a bit overwhelming amount of info, I apologize, I need some more help please!! Chris

All fuses checked out good. B+ cable has been replaced with 4 gauge wire so that is good as well. Smaller fuses 11B/1-5 all are getting 12 volts, only the 4 fuses in the secondary fuse box ( fuses 11C/19-24) are not getting 12 volts with key on. Any suggestions?
