And we turn to the Volvo webstore parts website and punch in 1997 850 and find,
It looks like the part stops at the 1997 850 line.
You can confirm by putting in the model s/V70 you are trying to fit and comparing part numbers

Thanks. The salvage yard I went to yesterday had 2 really nice hood liners on s/v70s and since they stopped at the radiator support they look like they would fit but not sure on the hole pattern for the clips. Thank you I'll see what I can find out

Im sure you can adapt it and just punch new holes if needed - if its in good shape grab it and make it workEmpigt wrote: 12 Dec 2019, 11:19 Thanks. If I double mine up, I won't be able to hear my exhaust CVVT hub growling again at 300k miles, You can't get good parts anymore.

Well got my scope camera in the mail and went to have a look. Good news is no bent valves and cylinders look great. At first I saw marks in the piston like it hit valves but looked it up and that's the way the pistons are made in this model. So aimed the camera up and saw this. So head is coming off next. Any certain brand of valves that are good for these engines?

Micro USB was a little loose on my phone but worked. It will get put in tool box for this kind of stuff in the future.
