Well I got the subscription I needed for vida. Now to download the software to program the new key, and see what happens.

Sounds like the car is in good hands.

For tires make sure the load rating is not on the low end, higher better. XC90s are tire eaters.

It's alive!!. Runs and drives, quiet, alignment way off, but it runs great. I'll get that write up posted soon. For what it's worth, there's a new free version of vida that's works with cloned devices and windows 10 64bit laptops

So after new wheels and tires, I found out the subframe was bent. I kinda had a feeling it was, but I’ll get it fixed

By subframe are you talking about the unibody structure or a replaceable piece? If the latter you can by a used unit, if the former you will need a reputable shop to do the pulling. My friends in the industry love the Volvo protection designed into the unibody, but they are a difficult pull as a result. Sometimes they can be pulled without having to do major surgery, but sometimes a correct repair requires new rails and welding. Depends on what the damage is.

I mean the removable part. There’s an aluminum bracket that bolts to the steel with the upper control arm where it looks like the bolt tried to pull through. I’m going to take that arm off and see if I can straighten that steel it mounts to

Got the subframe set right, and the car was able to be aligned properly. Next is rear springs or just helpers from ipd, and the front spring mounts, and strut bearings. Found out there is also a bad connection on the fuel pressure sensor as it pops a check engine light then goes off randomly. Just have to clean the connector and see what happens. Headliner is next and passenger curtain airbag.
