Battery seems to be doing well now even after 6 days of sitting. Should last some years.
I looked up some cooling fan numbers and found some for other cars, the power of these fans could work out to as high as 50 amp. Cant find the spec for my actual car model though, yet. Harder to measure now too since the fan doesnt run anymore, or at least not when the engine is shut off.

Did you check to see if the glove box light turns off when you close the glove box. That could be draining a battery.

No good idea. I'll check that, and check the current drain on the battery when the engine is off i have a clamp on ammeter of fairly good quality, has 3 and 3/4 digits so it can read up to a count of 9999 which means it would read 12.45 volts for example and if the current was 300 ma it would read 300.0 ma. The bulb might be 1 watt but i'll look it up, and that would read roughly 100.0 ma or something like 80.00ma (around there).
I should have done that it's quick with the hood open but didnt think of it at the time and i was going out to the store too. I may be able to find out the drain of the dash panel too if it draws more than about 10ua, always wondered what the drain was for the instrument panel in that car as it is always "on".

Yeah, measure the AC current into the refrigerator when the motor is off. If the bulb is on, a significant current will be measured. If not then if there is a timer just the timer current will show up which i bet is very small, but if we open the door and the current goes up and then close it and it goes back down, the bulb must be turning off unless there is some other device that senses the door open/closing.
I could do that with the glove box too. Open it and look for a rise in current, then close it again and look for a drop. That test should tell all.

Photons get absorbed and converted all the time. That is how the sun heats the earth. The Photons in the refrigerator gets converted to heat and then the heat pump pumps out the heat.

Speed of light slows down in different medias. Newton proved this in his dispersion of light experiments in 1666.

Its the Universe that has a speed limit not light. Nothing can transverse Space-time faster then 299792458 m / s.

You can just open the glove box each morning and measure how much light falls out. Can be messy, be ready with a bucket. If there isn't any then it's escaping, the seal around the edges of the glove box door needs work.

I once proposed we name the project Odin ( Open Diagnostic INterface ) and it was well received. Perhaps a new form titled Odin. Then move it there. We could split off topics within the Odin form instead of one massive thread.
