Vida CEM swapping

folks , i'm trying to bench a brick style cem , to mess around with it. and see if i can make a bench cable and see if my autel code reader will talk to it on bench can't go wrong for picking it up for 12 quid!


but i am having some trouble finding a reasonably jargon free diagram , i assumed i found one but it didn't have much barring on the type of cem

i figured id ask the question i here as it seems cem orientated....

Pinout is in VIDA. Information Tab / Product Specifications / "Electrical , Electronics" / Electrical system / Cables and fuses / Electrical distribution box, Fuse box / Signal description, central electronic module (CEM) / Signal specification .

I can hand over some detail , when I bought it from ebay its from a xc90 , 2010 , its the brick style one

2010 didn't have the CEM-B "brick" installed in them.

ya know i did think that too ? but i have seen stranger things happen. the seller had it up ffrom 2003 up to 2010 , but implies that it was from a 2010 , so who knows

I can hand over some detail , when I bought it from ebay its from a xc90 , 2010 , its the brick style one

The eBay seller had no idea what they where talking about. That is 1998 - 2004 P2, could be S80, S60, V70, XC70 or XC90.
P2 XC90s are MY 2003–2014. CEM- B XC90s are MY 2003 & 2004.

Is the paper label still attached to the end? If so take a clear close up picture of it and post it here.

Not sure why the pic is sideways, it's certainly been taken sideways. , to note I have had that on other forums where it places picture sideways.
