08688434 is a CEM HW-PN.
The best way to find out what it came out of is to hook it up and read the VIN Number. Then decode the VIN.

hi so i have taken a image of the 28F400 memory chip. but i found something interesting while working on it. , after trolling through almost all of the pages related to this thread previously there was chat about the modules going to sleep after 15-30 ish seconds? , i didn't think much of it to be honest. as mine did the same at first until i connected up the device which allowed me to retrieve the info from the 28F400 chip via the MC68376 freescale micro. , now i watched the power supply and amps. and it didn't change even after i copied off the info its stayed "awake". , so i retested i disconnected the CEM from the reader and it went to sleep after 15-30 seconds, reconnected the tool to the usb port. and it woke up again! without actually reading anything i could well be on to something here , it has 6-7 wires going onto the board... there must be something waking it up from them pins i might be here a while!

pics to show what i did... and upload of the image of the memories. etc etc ,
for some reason the dataman software wouldn't read the VIN in 8000 , xprog did though dunno why :?
i have included the image of the CEM for reference.

It the way you are holding your phone. For pictures from your camera. Load then into Microsoft Paint and rotate them before you post them

Instead of taking pictures of your computer screen with your phone, take a screenshot. Use the [Prtscn] key on your keyboard. Then look in This PC\Pictures\Screenshots\ .

That CEM came out of a 2003 XC90 T6.

[Prt Scr] saves the entire screen to a image file. [Alt] + [Prt Scr] save the selected window as an image file.
Looks like you need to add Shift or Function to access [Prt Scr] .
( [Shift] + [Prt Scr] or [Shift] + [Alt] + [Prt Scr] ).
( [Fn] + [Prt Scr] or [Fn] + [Alt] + [Prt Scr] ).

All keys must be pressed and down held down in the orders indicated. Like done when printing a capital letter or using the clipboard. One, two to three finger salutes, depending on the keyboard layout.

Windows will save the screenshots to Pictures\Screenshots unless the path has been altered.
