The car looks good, I'm just not a fan of that lip. I've seen it done before, just doesn't look great with the R bumpers IMO.

Ughh - I noticed that they don't show a view from the rear / side of that cut off edge. What, just a big empty void there ?

Looks like a good opportunity if to pick up a 98 NA on the cheap:

Great option if you are in the twin cities area and looking for a beater.

2005 XC70 wagon. Bainbridge Island WA (suburban Seattle) 169,000 miles.

What do you all suspect is wrong with the running of this car. They sound like non-mechanical sellers. Could be something minor.

"Super nice looking 2005 Volvo XC70, All Wheel Drive, 169K miles.

The Bad: The engine is hard to start and sometimes I can't get it started. It cranks just fine, and feels like it's about to catch and start but struggles. Also, once the engine is started and warms up, if I turn off the motor, I can't get it started again until the engine is cold again. Once it's started, the RPM's settle around 600 and it occasionally dies. Once the engine is running, it shifts and drives just fine, just like a normal car should. Finally, there are also a couple minor dings in the body that can be seen in the photos.

The Good: The rest of the car is great - everything works as it should. Leather seats, seat heaters, sunroof, stereo, lights, cruise control, smells good, etc. The timing belt was apparently changed recently by the previous owner, though I don't know actual mileage. Tires have decent tread on them. Car feels solid on the road...when it's running.

$2,500 OBO"

Hard to say without hooking up VIDA. But maybe it's just a bad MAF or something. Or do these have an IAC Valve that could fail? Also, I wonder what's going on with the Airbag message? Looks really nice otherwise and the price is good.

No idle air, all controlled by the ETB. Definitely would need to start with VIDA.

Why the rebuilt title status?

I agree the engine issue sounds minor (ignition? are there codes? fuel pressure sensor?), but do a glove test, check for chocolate milk etc.
