, I put a split coupler on each side of the joint,
a 3 inch section of 63mm pipe inserted (hammered) in the cat side,
resonator side is slightly bigger , the flange bolts drew it together.

I did both sides 3 weeks ago, I'd better check them again.

Now I see the tell tale drip drip , its coolant, radiator leak where it hit a jackstand.
Doing damage faster than I can fix stuff.
Ordering a new rad along with new tranny clips and seals.
Do I need to order more tranny fluid too ?

Rad is $214 but I see others at partsgeek for $109. Any good?

What brand? Valeo was the original, IIRC. I'd steer away from Chinese radiators.

Yes, buy couple of quarts. You will need 1/2, but it's always good to have a spare bottle or two.

I’ve been chasing down a front end clank over little bumps going slow out of my neighborhood. Pretty much everything is new on the XC front end. Complete strut assemblies, stabilizer links, wheel bearings, ball joints, control arms a couple years old. When I had it apart today I noticed my brake pads are a bit loose in the brackets. So I drove out of the neighborhood again, speeding up a little so I can apply the brakes when I hit the set of bumps and damned if the clanking went away. I guess I need new retainer springs unless you all have experienced this before. All other brake parts are tight. Slide pins are greased and tight.
