Not really Blacklab467, I don't have any good pictures yet as the weather here in Scotland hasn't been anything to write home about the last few weeks. The car is nice but it does carry a few battle scars it has caught during its 64,000 mile journey. If you like nice then my 1997 Volvo 850 with under 62,000 miles really is something special
What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.

Believe it or not we are, there's a public road that cuts across the 18th at St Andrews between Swilcan Bridge and the 18th green
The picture above was taken in Lanark, in the grounds of Auchlochan Garden Village. The grass was like driving over a bowling green, amazing

A mate arrived in his S60 T5 and I turned off an SRS light that he had activated when he removed his CCM to repair the thermistor, I then turned off his DRLs with Vida and cleared a few codes that had been caused by an aftermarket radio which has now been resigned to the bin and the original radio refitted.
Then we removed my CCM on the V70 and fitted a new thermistor, odd that both cars have Halfords batteries and both cars thermistors were blown which makes us wonder if maybe they don't know the correct procedure for changing the battery on these cars, after that we cleared the SRS warning on my car caused by removing the CCM and we're good to go
Once finished we were discussing the removal of front bumpers on the cars, maybe a job for a nice summer day to get the inoperative side marker bulbs replaced. I had never seen mine working but I hadn't really paid any attention to them but now that the DRLs are off I'll be using my light switch more ofter. I turned my sidelights on and was astonished to see the side markers all work, I think maybe the reason I hadn't noticed them before was they don't come on when the DRLs are running.

Does yours have a little city-light bulb in the low beam housing? Neat.
Damn that's a shiny car, and I'm not even a golfer.

@ Blackbart
I'm no golfer either but I did work in an industry that was closely tied to it.
Not sure what you mean by city lights, the small prism in the image below is all I can find that I think may be what you refer to. If so then my car doesn't have them

The car was booked into my favourite exhaust shop (C+C at Hillington) to have the tail pipe replaced. The original tail pipe was chrome and was rusty and not looking very nice.
Campbell decided that it would be best to chop the old pipe off from the box and start from there, I did wonder why but am glad he did as there was a hidden hole at the top of the pipe.
After a bit of fabrication the job was completed and I now have a smart looking tail pipe that will keep the MOT tester happy

I’m disgusted by how clean this car is (or maybe how dirty mine are?). I need to get my polish out when it warms up.P80GLT wrote: ↑13 Mar 2023, 06:51 A mate arrived in his S60 T5 and I turned off an SRS light that he had activated when he removed his CCM to repair the thermistor, I then turned off his DRLs with Vida and cleared a few codes that had been caused by an aftermarket radio which has now been resigned to the bin and the original radio refitted.
