Today's photo: Road trips in Scotland. When I first met these big trucks and buses on the narrow roads, they scared the crap out of me.

I appreciate that Matt. If I can map out a nice road trip of places I would like to visit I'll keep that in mind. I love cats.

How are you and Oliver doing?
We're doing well. He's almost done with 6th grade. We're going to go to Lakeside soon, the first time since 2018 because of the pandemic. I've been taking him there since he was 3 or 4. Lots of good memories there. My family (grandparents) took me there a bunch in the 1970s when I was young. They'd been going there since the 1920s. I remember the smell of the Fun House. It had a lot of electric-mechanicals to move the attractions inside, like the pitching floor, counter-rotating tunnels, and spin ride. Ozone and grease. The Fun House is long gone, and the whole place is in a state of disrepair.

I built a plastic model Spirit of St Louis when I was a kid. I didn't understand why it had no windshield!

My goodness. I almost thought that first photo was your house, and you were going to say "... and here's the model hanging in my living room" or similar.

I was about to call your couch before gnalan could, for crashing at night.

Here's our new cat, a rescue from Max Fund. He's a regular cat, a shorthair "Tuxedo", but I suppose like any housecat verrrry long when he stretches out.

I present to you, ladies and gentlemen, Oreo:

Oreo on the left, Georgia on the right. Hairbrush on table in background to mitigate Georgia's shedding. At this time of year she sheds hair like my wallet sheds dollars.
