Tell, me, are any of those rods on the wall for Spey casting? My son is an avid fly fisherman and fan of everything Scottish. He once explained to me about the Spey River and the tight confines and how they developed a special technique and long rod for that specific place. He got one and goes out to practice when he can (in his Land Rover).

replaced the driver side window mechanism, a pain of a job.

Not nasty spinning rods, they are rather special, fly rods are above the door, trout only as salmon fishing in Scotland is sadly above my pay grade.

next year come over here ,we have Atlantic salmon fishing not too far away from here, Grand Lake stream in northern maine.
fly fishing only and no ghillies required.

I'm curious about those doors. Do they have any insulating affect? They look like workshop roll doors. I like the idea, but over here they would not be much good at -30C for heat retention.

I am working towards your high standard of clean garage. Polished cars are less likely to happen!!

Yes the doors are insulated, the door is 5.8m (19 feet) wide and an up and over door would not work for that size. I had to fit a new motor to the smaller door a couple of months ago, so 15 years the original motor lasted
