There are 2 such seals. But replace them all, they come in one kit. Look for part numbers here: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... -reinz-kit Can buy Volvo or Reinz, doesn't matter much, I've used both.

FYI, Permatex anaerobic sealant seals better than Volvo.

....and the results :)
Problem fixed, and it was the lose bolts that holds the torque converter.
So happy now because last week I had my mind set on a replacement engine.

Now I might have the cleanest oil pan in this forum also :)
Big thanks for your support

Nicely done! What did you use to clean it? I think this next on my list of things to do on my car, I was going to drop it in the hot caustic tank but would prefer a gentler method of cleaning.

New here, new to Volvo. I changed a rod bearing a few weeks ago. Pan was horrible. Tried different solvents and cleaners. On a lark I used powdered laundry detergent and my before and after look like greffel's, maybe more extreme on both ends. I didn't take pics, but pan was shiny like new.

Great news on the engine rattle resolution and the info on cleaning the oil pan.

We filled up the oil pan with this exact detergent

Not sure what product you have available in Canada

We have many degreaser type products, but not all are good at removing the hard backed on oil. Thanks for the info though.
