To the OP: 20 mpg highway is way low I think. Best I ever got was 32.8 on a long interstate trip with no AC and the windows up, strictly conforming to the speed limit; but I got 30.4 with the A/C at 68 mph last month which is almost as good and a lot cooler! I'm a fanatic about measurements (environmental engineer) so you can take these as real numbers. These numbers are not abnormal for me on the highway. Around town I get about 19. (also, I use the cheapest gas I can find).
