improve 0-60 time/ more stage 0

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

okay. so just find a way to replace the elbow? i have some spare tubing from my silicon kit, ill try that this weekend.
so what about the rich fuel system? will a reset fix this, im guessing because of the new TCV?

and about the speeds, im not a reckless driver. i usually cruise at 70 on the freeway (remember, cali xD). but recently ive been going a little slower to save fuel because im only getting 20-21 mpg, and without the trip computer, i dont know what im getting at those speeds.
thanks!

Im sorry, last week was finals week. Anyway, i found what you thought it was...it was a..."minor" leak, the elbow had ripped and i could hear the hiss from a mile away... i see that it would be easier to get to if i removed a coolant hose, but its filled with water. any suggestions on how to get at it?
On a side note, i switched to premium and am now getting 19 mpg. instead of my usual 22... Do i need to reset the ecu? i honestly dont understand...

Deep breath. First things first. You're trying to cross bridges you're not at yet.

P0172 + poor fuel economy means it is that evil, difficult elbow. Fix that and your mpg will be back to normal. Then move on.

Start a new topic for each step you do to get your car up to Stage 0, assuming you have a question or comment about the steps. The more you approach this in a slow, logical fashion, the better your results will be.

Got the tube on, what a PITA. Had to go to harbor freight and pick up 11' pliers. An extra set of hands helps to hold the tube still while putting the elbow on. so far it works great. I was getting about 22-19 before, filled up my tank and will update on improvements......if i ever get my foot out of the floor
