Um, shouldn't there be mounting plates between the front bumper and the chassis legs? The front bumper should be held in place with 2 long bolts from beneath that pass up through the aluminum bumper and bolt to the plates that are missing!! No idea what the 4 bolts are with the plastic washers on them. They look like seatbelt mounting bolts.

The mounting plates are loose in the picture above, they should be level with the front.

Is that a pic of an S70? This is for my wife's 850, I've attached a pic of the assembly.

Yes it is a V70. I saw your info and thought it was your car that was damaged. Lost the plot now the thread is getting longer!

I took @erik11 advice and purchased the Christmas tree fasteners. They fit well. I have a few holes with rivets.

I searched ebay and bought these:
