To DIY the PCV, ignition and ATP AT-205 additive comes to about $300, not $2600. Add ECT and thermostat you're still; under $400 tops.
Then MIL can drive it for years!
By the way, bad ECT wires will not cause the thermostat to stay shut. Or maybe someone already pointed that out.
