two more drain and fills and the red should start being visible. No rush.

Rebuilt my HF 21gal air compressor, wouldn't build pressure over 20psi.

$22 rebuild kit from amazon, new reed valves and all gaskets.
Worked nice.
Next, install rear wheel bearing.

Took the wife and girls to Mt Ascutney VT, Montreal ON, Presqu'ile Park ON, Toronto ON, Leamington ON, Sandusky OH and Dayton OH over a couple of weeks and about 4k miles camping and Air BNBing. The little ferry from Leamington to Sandusky that did not even hold a dozen cars was entertaining. My V70 is by far the best road trip car I have ever driven.

Shortly before the trip I had 70% 3M Crystalline window film installed. The reduction in heat in the car was astounding. If you leave it in the sun all day, it will still get hot, but it takes a long time. I do not use nearly as much AC when driving in the mid-day sun. Wish I had done it immediately after getting the car. Every car from now on will get it.

Sounds like an awesome trip ...MONTREAL is one of my favorite big cities.

Drove a very large old mirror this morning. it fitted inside with only a centimeter or two to spare on the sides. Measuring well done before hand ;-)

The sheet is a precaution against sun glare.

Roadtrip today. Calm and smooth driving got me almost to 37 mpg on the 240 km trip back doing 80-100 kph, about half of each. It's a very smooth car to drive when not punching it.
