Yesterday I swapped my corner light indicators with aftermarkets from 1aAuto (pnP wanted $20 for patinea'd units). They don't fit well and the tabs broke off immediately, but 1aAuto issued a full refund without requiring me to send them back, which was nice of them.
Also swapped the trunk struts, which seems trivial, but makes the car feel shockingly new lol.
The biggest thing from yesterday was I found a bulge one one of my all season tires when I was switching them on. Two were already due to be switched being 7 years old, so I figured I'd get a better deal buying a full set. So I swapped all 4, and luckily I spring for the road hazard package because later that night my back wheel got a puncture and ran flat. Actually my first flat ever! They're swapping the tire with a brand new one for $14 tomorrow
What did you do to your Volvo today? Topic is solved

Finally got my rusty trailer hitch removed. The last 2 stripped bolt put up a good fight and I had to get the angle grinder out

When removing the hitch it got caught in the exhaust, put quite some weight on it and the p.o amazing welds made some rather bad cracking noises

So right now I'm hoping it holds for now and I have a Ferrita catback on the way

I'm waiting for a manufacturer to suggest lifetime engine oil with no changes needed. That will be a spectacular disaster.

The 850 passed state inspection and emissions testing with flying colors at 65328 miles on the odometer.
At 65450 miles the engine cooling fan wasn’t shutting off when turning the ignition off. It would continue to run for about a full minute before turning off. I replaced the fan relay and the coolant temperature sensor. While doing the work I flushed the cooling system and replaced the Stant thermostat with a genuine Volvo one.
One note... when I first started the car after replacing the sensor and relay the fan kicked on immediately. I shut the car off and it continued to run. So, I restarted the car and allowed it to idle until eventually the fan turned off by itself and it is now cycling perfectly. Might have been stuck in mid-cycle and needed to reset.
