So I changed the rear springs, shocks and the bearings that keep the shock in place at the top. One bolt of the bearing broke, but it was easily fixed. I'm saving up some money to do the front struts, but even now the driving experience is so much better :D

Dash out, then it depends how lucky you are with the mounts.

As you might suspect, Evita mounts all broke nice and cleanly and gave me nice , epoxiable repair points.

I might, however , try a new approach here.

Two thin SS wires running forward, anchored on dash, or maybe even shock cord.

Then apiece ofbutyl tape running the whole width of the dash front rim. I did this on Elizabeth and it worked like a charm.

Evita dash actually had the main piece of frame plastic broken , too. That was easy to epoxy.

I’m going to need a hot sunny day to bake all this epoxy out, my ladies can smell epoxy from three blocks away.

By the way, how do place a photo direct in a message? I've tried to use the insert image option, but when I copy/paste the url, it doesn't display the image in the post. Any help? :)
You need full editor ( button under message window) then click the attachments tab, then add files, wait for them to load , then preview/ submit

They show inthe reverse order of them being loaded.

Somebody posted on here recently about bringing tomato soup red paint back to original beauty and it was nothing short of spectacular.

Reminded myself to never try remove/install a dash by ,self again.

With Abby, 10 painless minutes.

Restored mounts, fixed dash cracks, added butyl tape to the upper contact surface and it glided in beautifully.

Ran messenger line for a mahogany phone tray I am designing for the dash

Texas sun must be brutal on a paint finish. On the plus side, probably not a lot of road salt to worry about.
