I'll see what I can find. Not much stock or access to breakers at the minute due to lockdown restrictions, but I'll check out the usual suspects all the same.

Not a Volvo but I refurbished my Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 18 Volt battery pack, which is NLA.

Got a Porter Cable PC18B battery pack and scavenged the NiMH cells out of it. Then transferred the NiMH cells to the Chicago Electric case. After you get the (+) (-) leads reversed the Ni-Mh cell pack drops right in. A cordless replicating saw and a drill that will not be discarded to the waste bin anytime soon.


Note: A NiMH charger will charge NiCd without any problem. A NiCd charger will charge NiMH BUT it can overcharge the NiHM. Do not leave NiMH in a NiCd charger for more then a couple of days. The eBay vendor I got the battery Porter Cable battery from stated it was NiCd. I did not notice it is NiHM not NiCd until after I had finished the hack.

Yes, the C70 delta link is indeed wider. I read before that it was only the '03-'04, but I guess it's all of them (which actually makes more sense anyway).

I read on one of the forums about a little extra being welded on somewhere, but I'm not sure where. The spindles, wheel bearings and sway bay all seem to be the same checking VPW and FCP. I used the transverse bushings I had recently installed on my s70 and the endlinks I had ordered for my s70 before I pulled the delta link.

I think they probably just extended the trailing arms a little bit. Doesn't make much sense cost-wise, but Volvo has done stranger things.

The front track on a P2 XC90 is three inches wider then a P2 S60. The difference is in the control arms. I know this from the V8 swap.
