Wondering what to do? 1998 S70 blown head gasket Topic is solved

Take a chance on an old bone yard engine. Think the go for maybe $400+tax (approx price). You can buy bone yard insurance but you only have like 30days to find a good used one. I would by an engine put it on a stand and rebuild the new motor. Some work yes but very rewarding in the end!

Uodate: After completing head renewal and replacing head gasket, car ran beautifully for week or so. Then, suddenly will not start. Have spark, plugs are wet with fuel, air pump running fine. Compression feels fine when turning crank pulley. Fuel pump running fine (confirmed by placing jumper on fuel pump relay socket). Replaced cam position sensor (male plug from sensor had self-destructed). Have ordered new fuel pump relay.
Any other thoughts?

Replaced fuel pump relay; still no start. Will check fuel pressure at schrader valve wtih fuel pressure gauge.

Test the compression of each cylinder while cranking.
It may have slipped timing. Check the timing marks on belt.
Check all electrical connectors - something may be loose.
