I agree, great idea for a thread. Thanks for all the great photos posted so far. Here are 2 of my favorite ones from more recent travels.

I'm not sure, but it'd be interesting to see up close. I didn't know what to look for until I zoomed in and started panning across the rock. Then they started popping out and being more visible.

I like photos that suggest more questions and an urge to go see and investigate.

Today's photo is a cute toad that I see at my house in the summer. They like to climb on cars and hide under the hood.

Photographed as shown in a mid-priced motel in Scotland in 2009. I have wondered if the framed cookies were poised this way or time made the cookie crumble.
