Q: How does a one legged tub get around?

A: On a trailer!

Noted that my preheat system wasn"t working properly. It was only sucking hot air through the preheat hose. On the freeway my IAT was 70 degrees C. After this ghettofix it dropped to 32 C. Gonna be interesting to see if my mpg will increase.

A bit of car malaise 200 miles from home

Elizabeth the T5 is suddenly dropping ps fluid, so I suspect a hard line is leaking. It might be running out too fast to feed in, so I’ll have to chance the drive home tomorrow

I’ll see if I can slow the leak a bit but don’t have car mechanic time with the garage project

I could also give it to Ithaca Foreign Car , too.

Duct tape on the leaking joint.

Cut a small hole in the hood.

Funnel through the hole, within reach of one of the side windows, depending on if you have a passenger to help.

Hose with clamp from funnel to PS reservoir.

Passenger or driver pours in a little at a time, depending on how much excessive steering the driver is doing.

I'm sure I saw this done on Red Green.

Wow, BIG drop in IAT! That's an important thing to check on NA cars.

Redid my negative cable on the R the other day. The old one wasn't too bad, but the ends were starting to fray in the lugs and they were a little corroded. Went with 4ga for the main cable to the transmission and 6ga to the chassis.

I know! Sick drop! Wonder how long I've been driving around like that?
People with n/a cars and preheater should definitely check that their system works.

Looks like an AWD, front is higher than usual? Saw a very clean white S70 on the freeway today and son said I would drive one of those with a 5 speed. True enthusiast.

Oh man, I saw a nautic blue V70 AWD go down my street earlier, on some P2 wheels of some sort and an egg crate and jewels, and a euro front plate. I was confused for a second, thinking I wasn’t expecting anybody. He seemed to slow down at my house though, no idea why... I’m sure it has nothing to do with my fleet of Volvos...
I passed by and noticed the car outside a house down the street while I was test driving my newest project Lexus ES300.
