Problem after transmission fluid change

I have a 97 850 Non Turbo 20V Fuel Injected, so I believe it's a B5254S

Yea, thanks. Never had transmission problems like yours.
(Keep it low - don't tell anyone about it!) 8)

Well, it gets crazy hot in TX, especially the past 5 years, it's hard on those Swedish girls! :roll:

I wonder how much harder it can get with a modified cooling system :o

The cooler may have been disconnected for a reason. Sometimes we see the cooler start leaking into the radiator, making a huge problem - antifreeze destroys transmission bands. If you want to be absolutely sure, pressure test or change the radiator.

It's kinda sounding like proper pressures aren't building up within the transmission valve body. You used Dexron-III fluid, correct?

There's no flashing arrow or orange arrow lit up on the dash?

I replaced the radiator myself and that was after the transmission, put back the lines as they were, did not think about the trans back then as I had no issue. So, the radiator has low miles.
I used Mobil 1 after using DEX III / MERC as I was told it's better, made no difference. No, no flashing arrow, no CEL, no codes.
