Because I can’t really roll around on the ground under a V70 anymore, I’ve recently taken up photography, both digital & film. 35mm film photography is really addictive if you haven’t tried it in awhile. 😁🇺🇸🔧

That's a nice Minolta. I have one from the generation before that, about 1980. What I started with in 1986. Nice 50mm too you have there.

Do you shoot BW film? Process at home? If you don't, start. It's a riot.

Whoops, my Minolta is circa 1980, and yours is (first run) 1974. Yours predated my XG-1. I fixed your portrait oriented photos. The forum doesn't play nice with those.

Love that camera and those Daschunds! I took photography in grade school and would like to get into it again if I had room for a darkroom and all those developing trays and those chemicals, probably not practical today. Do you develop your own film? I wonder if all that stuff is still available for the hobby photographer. Nice pictures!

Th results are showing after two weeks into treating Creeping Charlie. Lawn is ready for final fertilizer of the season, closing with winterizer. I do have a dormant seeding to do before the frost settles.

BL, I spell out my doctrine/process starting here at this post viewtopic.php?p=575708#p575708 in case you're interested. IMHO it's a fantastic hobby because the satisfaction is off the charts.

Thanks Matthew, I may have to look into that as a hobby again. My father had a pretty extensive collection of Asahi Pentax cameras and lenses and filters, etc that he wanted to get rid of a few years ago and I had offered to Ebay them but instead kept them for potential future use. I may just dust them off and start using them again!
