Very well done ! I wouldn't have done anything different, except spill beer on the connections and short out the new fan.
I have three bathroom fart fans that sound like their blades are smacking nails.
Keep meaning to do something about them, butt......

Ohh no, I was hoping you wouldn't see this! Me and my destructo framing tools....

But boy we're enjoying a dry fresh bathroom after hot showers!

I saw a round damper piece that goes on the end of the intake - I wonder if that would be smart for winter?

Needed to move the old workbench from an outside wall of the shop. Plan: cut it loose, flop it on its face on some dollies, roll it to the other wall, stand up, fasten, done.

Termite turds everywhere. The old fellow who built it against an exterior wall didn't put much thought into destructive pest mitigation.

Dugged up this line I installed a couple of years ago going to an additional sprinkler head. Due to the lack of rain I had to redirect one sprinkler so this area was not getting enough water.

I have ordered a new mower deck drive belt for my John Deere mower. The belt has recently come off twice and looks like all the goodie has been used up. I found the mower serial number indicates this 214 model was built in the first year of production - 1975. That is the same year of production as my first Volvo - a 1975 245. Is it a coincidence that I purchased both in early 1990's for about $400 each?
My notes indicate the Kohler engine was rebuilt in 1994 and again in 2001.

VLN, my family had a 212 or 214. My dad worked for John Deere, so we always had a new tractor, and each one was a little bit more than we needed.

This is my front yard of my family's home near Waterloo, Belgium, either 1978 or 1979.

L-R: our Dutch neighbor girl who spoke six languages, my sister on her lap, my childhood buddy Douglas, and me.

Douglas went to an Ivy League school and appears on CNBC every so often, or used to. I don't have cable. He is Chiang Kai-Shek's great-grandson, not kidding. His dad worked for Citi, and they lived in a very cool, large modern/contemporary house down the street.
