I just got a new dash cam that I put in my V70R, I'll have to post a video on some back roads. Just need to send out my injectors for rebuild... what was going to be a simple o-ring an filter replacement turned into a weeks long argument with the car! Oh well, they'll be flow tested and I'll know that they're up to spec. Then maybe I'll finish piecing together my RIP kit and take care of the exhaust.

This may be a silly question, but how do you hold a phone camera steady on the dash?

Just basic short neck suction cup (with good lock mechanism.. not without lock thingy so it sticks well) holder and stick to windscreen just right above the dash. I have in middle bottom of the mirror so not in my view really.

P.S. if mean steady picture on road like camera did in my video that was fully my phone camera doing stabilisation work somehow which i did not know can do such thing like micro gimbal built in.

Looking other ones doing road trips

The stabilization in that video was amazing. The camera stayed locked on the road even when the car bounced around. Going over the speed bumps, you could see the dashboard move as the car moved, but the road remained steady. Looked like a gimbal!

Since you guys like driving footage. Here is my daily drive to school when I lived on st Kitts in the carribean a few years ago. Footage is not nearly as steady but it is relaxing.

Looks like a nice place to be. Took me a short time to realize it is a LHD car on a RHD island! That was a scary driveway to exit. All you see is sky!

With a 25% off parts sale until tonight got a buddy to order his tailgate repair kit, and also ordered the emissions pipes for my friends 98 V70 NA.

After trying to help a guy on Facebook working on an 01 V70 T5 JDM (yes RHD) for a friend. Seized CV joint (boot looked like toast for a while). Naturally JDM cars use more Euro spec parts so axle is different part number. Still trying to help on that one!

Finally got to order the parts for our own cars before sale is over tonight! Bought bulbs for front lights on 06 XC70 and a few service items for that and the 'R' as luckily some are interchangeable!

Front O2 sensor.
Ultrapower Sensors are junk, this will be my last (3 in 2 years), only using it again because it was free under warranty.
