And your right - somewhere around 4:00 am the answer will probably come to you.
4:00am didnt help, but walking around the garage did
The car pops and run like shit for a second then stalls again. I replaced the cam seal behind the distributor, and looking at the rotor plate from the other engine it seems possible to install it 180° off :? that wouldn't help

Weather isnt on my side, it was 90°F on saturday and 54° and rainy on sunday !
You have to be a real monkey mechanic to do that

Thanks for that link, missed it when searching for some pictures.
I was able to confirm the distributor rotor was in the right place. That means I did that part correctly even if I remember it, but that doesnt solve my no start issue

Trying not to be that annoying neighbour that cranks the starter for hours in the evening, so havent done much more troubleshooting.

Decided to go cut up some volvo parts in the garage instead

Had a hot ride today when the AC decided to cutout. VolFCR indicated a bad AC pressure sensor. Live readings showed intermittent -162KPA indicating a bad reading. Dielectric greased the high pressure sensor at first and then realized it was the low pressure sensor by the passenger headlight. Looked like wiggling the connection caused a bad reading. Cleaned terminals and applied a liberal amount of di-electric grease. Now my AC is back to a chilly normal which is needed in 32+ celsius weather.

Caitlin came over after work and we dropped in a fresh alternator, serp belt T60 , cabin filter, turn light, into Shagg. I made the same mistake I did in the Kat , s70 and forgot to tighten the lower AC bolts. I’ll tighten them Tomorrow am before she leaves,,,,at 0630

Good thing you're already up before then; and you just saved me from putting a spare turn signal in the box headed North in the big Dark Burgundy container.

Kat approved inspection, took Husky for a walk, replaced a lower rad hose clap, ugly

Ran over a werewolf and killed it. My car is silver it's the only kind that will kill a werewolf, any other car he would just get up and walk away. Has to be silver.

:-)
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

^ I read that's the reason that they are on the Endangered Species List. Just too many of us silver cars.
