Just agree to the used engine at $3200, what included is
- 1 yr. 12,000 mile parts and labor warranty
- 1 yr. 30,000 mile labor warranty
- 1 year free diagnosis
- includes sale tax all fluids, gaskets, packings, and seals.

This is what I want to see done
- comply with engine install check list
- a full list of all work/repairs
- copy of original purchase order of engine
- everything stated above placed on invoice or signed and dated.

I need to email them with this information before they will start the repair. I'm not sure how to write this in a legal manner? And did I miss anything? Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated

And perhaps most importantly get them to remove the lower crank pulley and place anti-seize on the splines. This will prevent corrosion and make it a life-termer.

Is LCP not part of the replacement engine?

Let's say the engine is at 100K or less, for me the standard includes:
- New spark plugs (by the way I use NGK Iridium plugs).
- TB
- New tensioner pulley
- New idle pulley
- WP is an optional item, the Aisin WP is usually good until 180K or so.

- Cam seals: usually OK until 150K or so, after that it is a guess. If dealer wants to do that it is fine.

- New serp belt and new tensioner to be sure.

A properly maintained 5-cyl engine should last at least 250K.

What about the oil trap box and? Will they replace it or should I buy one and have them install it.

Absolutely the PCV is done so easily when the engine is off the car. It's not just a box though; the lines are often clogged. Take a look at IPDs kits.
