I will move it into the old garage and cover it tomorrow. Want to leave it 24 hrs to see that none of the tires go down in pressure. I still suspect one and naturally it ended up in the one spot which is hardest to access once parked!

Naturally the cars I own always try to outdo each other in terms of which is the biggest and most expensive PITA. I bought a (old) Toyota 4Runner as I was told with low mileage it would be reliable. It continues to break in spectacular style and will soon outdo the 'R' at a far fast rate. The X-REAS (fluid suspension) failed early on (Quote from dealer was near $8500 to repair, I paid around $3500) the exhaust manifold on one side split as predicted by other owners at 100k miles mine was ticking when bought but dealer swore it was not the manifold). Option is to replace with another terrible OE pair, or a set of Doug Thorley Stainless T304 units. They are on back order since May and are currently forecast for Jan/Feb 2023! Either way that is a $5000+ job as engine has to come out!

Both front axle C/V boots split (fortunately covered by warranty) and now there is a strange acrid smell in the cabin each time the car starts. I believe it will turn out to be the A/C evaporator. Turns out there is another 'known issue' I did not know about. If you ever think removing a P80 dash to replace the evaporator, then that job is for amateurs! Apart from very poor Youboob videos, it is a multi-hour job to remove the dash and way more complex than a P80. Ho-hum!

You gotta get the 3rd gen 4runners. (1996-2002). That was the sweetspot for reliability.

Clearly, but the seats were not as comfortable. I wanted an XC90 but there were no 'R' design for sale for over a year anywhere near.

The 4th gen 4runner seats are pretty good. Better than the Sequoia. Those weren't awful, but lacked any kind of lateral support. I find that extremely necessary in any truck/SUV.

.
Cleaned ABS Module plug and insert and removed a dozen or so times to resolve the ABS & Brake warning lights and Limp Mode. P0500 and P0600 both gone, hopefully for good.
.
Blessings,

Went to reinstall the carpet in the V70

Figured i could get some floor insulation in better shape from the parts car C70

Found out the carpets were wet

Things got a bit out of hand, taking stuff off when you dont have to put it back on later is so much more fun

I also forgot to test the speakers before taking the dash out, so i had to bring the loom back in the car

Now if you want to come over and pull the dash out of my V70 so I can repair it that would be great! :D

I love dash work. You stay clean and you get to put all the little screws into baggies and label them
