I agree, really nice looking 240 wagon. Always loved those cars.
Plastic foot rest? A 2 minute job isn't it if I recall correctly (as long as it is not broken).

Placed an FCP order, and filled up the windshield washer fluid reservoir in the 99 S70 with temperature appropriate washer solution.
I keep comparing/contrasting the S70 with my 850, and the S70 wins without question in the windshield washer department. The 850 takes time to prime, and runs through fluid very fast, which makes me think some of the plumbing is bad. The S70 sprays (in a nice pattern) as soon as I activate the washers, and I've been running on the small amount that was in the car when I bought it.

Checked the Wagon today and it seems like the uro parts radiator hose has finally sealed up my cooling system. Been having fun leaks for months but i dont see any wet spots on the ground anymore.
The new air filter seems to have solved the P0131 issue and P0422 dtc's i was attributing to a bad o2 sensor. Will give it another 200 km and see if it comes back.

If the 850 is using a lot of fluid and takes a one time to prime it is likely the one way valves are leaking in the pipe work. You can also replace the spray units on the hood with P2 versions which give a much better spray pattern.

^This. You can replace the check valve(s) if they're not holding fluid, and I highly recommend swapping the nozzles to either later P80 or P2 nozzles. As you can see, MUCH nicer spray pattern!

Replacing the nozzles with later nozzles was my first "mod" (only one really). I used Pro Parts nozzles, not Volvo, Though.... against Abscate's advise. They may actually be worse than the factory 850 nozzles. I'm wondering if besides one way valves that aren't working, I have a low pressure issue too, such that any nozzle won't spray well. I'll address it when the weather gets nice again.... the 850 is off the road for now. Well, I may drive it one more time to wash it, and fill it up with gas. For now, I'm just enjoying the things the S70 does better.... I am liking the turbo!bmdubya1198 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2022, 09:18^This. Definite;y gorp someJB on each crack to get through the holiday week(s) then reward her with a new Nissens ftom FCP and two new radiator hoses. Do you want some cool kid oetiker clamps so you can gloat over your uneducated brother?
The radiator hoses (with oetiker clamps!) and transmission cooling lines were updated relatively recently. Do I need new clips for the transmission lines? A coolant system cleaner?

Don't think you need a coolant cleaner unless you are not replacing the coolant relatively frequently like every 3-4 years. You can flush it with water.
I would suggest if the Nissens radiator is not supplied with new 'O' rings and clips the 'O' rings are definitely worth changing, the clips/clamps you can re-use (make sure you check the correct orientation when removing or they will leak) and use a tightened zip-tie around then to prevent them coming back off.
