I call dibs on those for my old coolant hose box. I use them for chafe relief of hoses, wires, mufflers , and other things.

One of the few times I advocate old rubber.

Well our relaxing MLK day plans were changed by a bad accident which required SWMBO at the ER and police station so Abby and I took her in, then took Shagg local bird watching until she got free. We still had a better day than the two guys involved.

You tend to be a tad terse at times.

I'm really hoping that your family is going to be ok after the accident. And your cars, but first your family.

Ah, sorry. SWMBO is professionally responsible for safety of 30,000 people in a large institution, so her day off was cancelled. We took her into work, not the ER.

No harm to our Collective, and thankfully all parties are doing well now

Changed the oil cap gasket on my daily as i was getting pools of oil ontop of the engine while driving. I serviced the PCV system about 75-100k km ago however i did not note a lot of positive pressure. Will reservice in summer of this year. Changed the gasket as there was visible oil leaking from the cap, cleaned around the cap and have not seen further oil leak from the gasket. Make sure to lube the new gasket prior to putting it on or you will have a fight taking it off.

Might do sparkplugs soon as some appeared to be slightly fouled by a small leak that was fixed with some blue devil head gasket treatment. Also planning on pulling and swapping the injectors from the crashed car sometime this weekend. All of this goes if time permits.

I spent a lot of time swearing ! I have someone interested in buying the Canistos off my parts car C70, but the rear wheels had wheel locks with no key. Tried shoving a socket in, welding a nut, drilling, no success.

So this morning I woke up with plan
It involves doing this...

....then this (thanks god for the 2 part calipers, that made things much easier)

And after breaking a bunch of fancy drill bits, you end up with this and wheels that can be attached to another car
