My service light started coming on, on the S70 about a week ago. Today, I got it turned off. When discussing the EEC system it was mentioned that 850OBD2 will talk to a 99, even though I had had issues doing that. Come to find out, it's the "COMBI" portion that won't work due to it being a different system, but I can connect to EEC and other things. I was able to turn off the service light no problem.

If you buy the nice ones, they can be sold for $20+. He might buy some $30+ pairs. I like to buy the Bosch clear advantage beam blades. Best wiper ever balancing excellent performance with excellent price. Watched a video comparing cheap v beam v others. Bosch CA beams ($20+) performed just as good if not better than the really expensive ones.

Didn't get a chance to use the audio test station in anger today. Need to find out how those fake cassettes you can use to connect a phone or iPod works. Does it use the whole mechanism or just the sound head and not use the drive belt? No idea, so if anyone knows let me know! I've uploaded a couple of pictures in the audio section of the finished speaker box.

As I have not got enough projects, I 'saved' some PV544 parts today. I actually went to get the center front 'nose' section with grill to make it a wall hanger. As usual. this ended up with the seller forcing more unwanted parts on me!

I posted pictures in the 544 section, as I have no use for the transmission or 544 badge, and even the nose' section I am not sure I want to cut it down to make a wall hanger out of it as it is in such good condition. :?

Well, now have to decide what to do with the 'nose'.

That’s pretty cool! I’d hang it up just like that.

Last time I took one appart... The only critical infrastructure was the sound head. The drive gears were unnecessary.

What I am trying to check in the process is if the drive belt in the head unit is still working or broken. A buddy of mine had a unit where the drive belt broke.

As for the 544 front, the 'face' is cool, but the issue is the depth of the part which is 15-18". It makes it heavy and hard to wall mount. Thinking maybe using chains and hanging from the roof?

That could be a good option, that way you don't have to cut it up.

If you have a concrete or brick wall, some heavy duty brackets and concrete anchors should do nicely.
