Picked up some Mobil 1 5w30 full syn for 35 cad.

That's pretty light oil for a Volvo (according to the manual).

My rear mass motion sensor triggered a few times out of the blue. Will clear the back seats, ensure it is seated correctly, and hope for the best. Right now, the car is left in reduced guard mode.

What does this mean? I've never heard any of these terms before.

I love 0w40 for these engines, and really most Euro engines in general.

I agree clearing the back seat is a wise move.

Alarm stuff. They have to put a lot of alarms on Canadian cars because their southern neighbors keep coming up and stealing their cars and geese,

I do enjoy seeing the geese flying in formation, but other than that, I could do without them.
