Serviced the 2001 C70 T5: engine oil + filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter and replaced the brake fluid. A year ago did the timing and serpentine belts, all pulleys, waterpump. Runs very sweet.

Appears so to me. Maybe the plastic was just thinner on that area?

Found this little guy hanging out under the turbo while searching for a coolant leak. Pretty sure it's an exhaust stud. But I don't have any exhaust leaks and can't find an empty hole.

And today while rotating tires I've learned my brake hose are beging to collapse internally. Oh what a fun weekend I have ahead of me.

Having just removed all the exhaust bolts, that is most certainly an exhaust stud. There may be enough tension across the exhaust manifold to prevent a leak. You would need to move the exhaust shield to see. Could also send a bore scope camera to visualize the studs.

Did an oil change on my V70 today. Now slightly regretting that I bought a V70 with the infamous Magneti Marelli ETM, does anybody have experiences of replacing the throttle position sensor within the unit?

I figured it was an exhaust stud. I'll send my cheap borescope in to investigate. Definitely wasn't one I lost. Which means it's been bouncing around down there for potentially over 5k miles.

Fixed my code scanner today. Old sd card was slowly dying and had corrupted a file that directs the user to the locations of files. flashed a new card and the scanner works again.

Worked on cleaning up some Rust... :?

Pulled out the whole line of glue and after some rust converter will slap on some paint. Probably not going to look too pretty, but at least will not rust any more. Taking out the window is too much to ask for now, also the rust does seem to only be below it.
