I’ve ordered a spray can of the stardust colours go chrome for mine, will post results as they are corroded now and very poor.

£129.60 .... 75% of the cost of a pair of replacement headlights.
My solution $20.00 ( £16.90 ) 10% of the cost of a pair of replacement headlights.
$7.00, 3.5% if reusing the Halogen bulbs is good enough for the user.

With Richard's white epoxy solution, do we need complex silver application? What are the downsides to white and benefits of silver? Perhaps they have different heat resistance to resist bubbling up the coating.

What about baking soda blasting, spraying with carbon/graphite, then electroplating nickel on? Then polish if needed, then clearcoat with UV stable polymer. I have to say though, that white epoxy sure does look nice.

I think the silver has more infrared rejection if I had to guess, leading to less heating of the reflector. I know at least one person on here should be able to verify/reject this inference.
