2000 Volvo V70 Cross Country AWD 110,000 miles
About 10 months ago I had the Upper Strut Bushings (mechanics suggestion) replaced because the front end was making this terrible clunking noise (both sides). This fixed the problem for about 5 month, then the right side starting making the noise again. I took it back in and since it was still under warranty they replaced the bushings again. And as you may have guessed the left side is now making the noise. I have several questions:
1.Is this normal with rebuilt strut bushings?
2.Was this the right diagnoses and/or is there something else that needs repair that might be causing the bushings to go out? Ie: maybe it needs new shocks
3.If I have a year parts and labor warranty doesn

If it's under warranty, take it back...could be the same thing but not necessarily. Lots of stuff in the suspension can make these sounds.
