I stuck it on the Forum someplace earlier; I was high bidder for a while - at $200 - but it looks like somebody local is on it. If it was in DC you already know what would happen. I don't follow NH close enough to know what the local scrappers are paying - it's still ca. $425-475 in DC - which ends up being the in house 'reserve'. As mentioned before, sometimes the Charity has their own ides about minimums.
The over/under on this one depends on whether the buyer has either a donor car or one that needs a donation.
I have a couple teeshirts with the trunk decal logo on them. Didn't buy them; I got them the hard way. Load-in days for the stadium shows always started at 4 AM, and we only got to go home at midnight if there was another show the next day. Otherwise we left after the doors closed on the last truck after load-out.

Did anyone catch what this closed at? I just missed watching it.
In NH, we have a few Volvo shops which might want this. One of them bid against my T5M, I'm pretty sure. Another, ReVolv in MA, would probably take the manual out and sell it as a kit. Landing at any of these shops would be a worthwhile end for the car because it would keep the parts in the community.
I drove past Capitol last night. As always, tried to look in the parking lot for this one. Couldn't see it. Maybe next time.

Made $525 - plus fees - didn't watch it but it isn't listed back on inventory, so my guess is it sold.FireFox31 wrote: ↑11 Mar 2023, 09:10 Did anyone catch what this closed at? I just missed watching it.

Sounds like a good purchase for the new owner. Surely the complete M56 package is worth more than $525, significant more once rehabilitated. Take off some other choice parts and scrap the rest to get that $525 back. Some day I'll have space for this sort of work.

About a $1000 with fees and tow
To make that back is a lot of $25 dollar part sales with people wanting free shipping that costs you $20 while you stare at a hulk slowly disappearing in your driveway.
M56 kit about $500 market price.
If you don’t have a way to get it to crusher yourself, another 150 for that tow
I got crazy lucky on the 1999 I parted out, my first one , as local buyers for the sheet metal all turned up in month one. Doors hood tailgate.
I probably never counted my labor at $30, though. Eventually got a “move this car in 30 days “ notice from town, too, near the end.
