Cam cover plug

Post by ignatz »

This blank off plug on my 01 V70 slightly leaks and was wondering if they are available to be replaced. I'm still pulling negative pressure on my PCV system, so I guess that helps. Is it something that gets replaced ?
Thanks, Rob

I've been in there over the years. It tends to leak back towards the exhaust manifold, not under the cam plastic cover.

I found the "cap" on the Smyth Volvo site. #1361451 They are $5.66, so I might get one or two in case the thing starts leaking bad. Mine looks like its corroded, and I was always afraid of cleaning it up and making it leak worse.
I'm not touching it unless I have to. lol
