Urgent: I am stranded today in SC, squealing coming from under hood. Removed oil cap and it stops, which tells me the most likely cause is failed PCV valve. Is it safe to drive car home (175 miles) or to nearest dealer (40 miles) or should I have it towed? Need reply NOW if possible! (Update: drove it approx 1 mile to a safer location and Check Engine light came on so I am not taking chances! Having it towed!)
