2009 C70 (Wondering about roof retraction issues)

I don't own a C70 as yet but would consider buying one if not for the potential convertible top problems. I have researched the C70 and apparently there is a problem with the micro-switches and potentiometers and control the raising and lowering of the roof.
i also read that the 2009 model year was the only one without these issues, if that is true. Can anyone who has owned this model Volvo let me know what they have experienced with their C70 and the retractable roof?

I did flush the CHF202 in my convertible pump to help the seals out and looked pretty clean. You are right to be a bit concerned on the electronics as that would be the most costly repairs on these cars.
