2012 Xc90 3.2

I am having a unique problem. My car will start in the mornings to get to work but will not start at the end of work roughly 4pm. However, if you wait till 6pm or later it will start. I have replaced the starter, battery, and ring antenna. I have of similar issues and I am slowly replacing all the parts and pieces. I’m down to a new key and chip or the ECM. Can any lend some insight before I go spend 2k on parts?

I see your location is Louisiana. Are you having warm, sunny days when this happens? It might be temperature related. Will the car restart if shut off when warm after a drive? Will it start midday before the day gets warm? Does the car sit in the sun during the day? Can you try parking in the shade? Are the windows all closed during the day?
My thought is you have something electric that gets warm and contact is broken until it cools down. I may be way off on this idea.
To find this electric item, if real, you could try spraying objects with canned air to cool them one at a time. Try to start after each item is cooled to isolate the problem.
