I guess I bought a 1985 944 for my daughter yesterday on eBay. It was described had having a "massive oil leak at the rear of the engine" so I figure I'm looking at a rear main seal. Way easier on a rear wheel drive car than an 850 but a similar site, if anyone knows of one, would be greatly appreciated.
